We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Technical Sales Representative to join our team, focusing on MobiusFlow, our cutting-edge IoT platform, in North America.
MobiusFlow is non location specific middleware platform, which connects data from numerous sources, normalises it and presents it for actionable insights and automated responses. We have a presence in Europe, The UK, Australia, North America and further afield. This role combines deep technical expertise with exceptional sales and communication skills to identify opportunities, demonstrate solutions, and drive the adoption of MobiusFlow in diverse industries.
You will work closely with customers, providing tailored solutions that address their IoT integration challenges and showcasing how MobiusFlow can transform their operations.
Sales Strategy and Execution:
- Identify and engage potential clients in sectors such as smart buildings, manufacturing, energy, and agriculture.
- Develop and execute a technical sales strategy to expand MobiusFlow's customer base.
- Work with the sales team to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Customer Engagement and Support:
- Conduct in-depth consultations with clients to understand their technical requirements and demonstrate how MobiusFlow meets their needs.
- Deliver engaging product presentations, live demonstrations, and technical workshops for potential and existing customers.
- Provide ongoing technical support and guidance during pre-sales and post-sales stages, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term retention.
Technical Expertise and Solution Design:
- Analyse customer pain points and design tailored IoT solutions using MobiusFlow’s capabilities.
- Collaborate with internal engineering teams to address complex technical challenges or custom integration requests.
- Stay updated on IoT trends, competing platforms, and emerging technologies to provide informed recommendations.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Liaise with marketing teams to develop technical content, such as case studies, white papers, and webinars, showcasing MobiusFlow’s value.
- Partner with product teams to communicate customer feedback, identifying opportunities for improvement or new feature development.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, proposals, and project outcomes in CRM tools.
- Prepare sales performance reports and present insights to senior leadership regularly.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily prospecting calls or meetings with potential clients to explore their IoT needs.
- Demonstrate MobiusFlow's functionality through hands-on product demos and webinars.
- Provide technical insights in client-facing conversations, bridging the gap between business goals and technical capabilities.
- Respond to RFPs and prepare detailed technical sales proposals.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery for ongoing implementations.
- Manage client inquiries related to product compatibility, integrations, and scalability.
- Regularly research competitors and market trends to refine sales approaches.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in technical sales, IoT solutions, or related industries.
- Strong understanding of MQTT, TCP/IP, cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS), and IoT frameworks.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with smart building technologies, sensors, and industrial IoT applications is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field is preferred.

- If selected, you will be taken through a multistage interview process where if you are successful, you will be offered a position with us with a 3-month initial trial which will then be converted into a rolling 12 month contract with us and reviewed annually.

- Full time plus occasional weekends & travel (e.g. trade shows and customer visits)
- Head-office in Henley-on-Thames, CEO based in Canada, and work-from-home, depending on business requirements
- Salary based on candidate experience
